We offer our employees a unique vantage point into the business world and the opportunity to influence the development of the Lahti region. At LADEC, we have the privilege of doing meaningful work for the benefit of the entire region and its companies.

We help companies to start, renew and grow through coaching, funding and networks. We guide relocating companies towards the right contacts and partnerships, and we develop business networks and ecosystems together with our partners.

Our work is visible in entrepreneurs’ everyday life, in new growth stories, investments and jobs – and it can be felt in the vitality of the entire Lahti region.

Employee wellbeing is extremely important to us

Feedback and development suggestions from staff are essential for maintaining and continuously improving wellbeing at work. We measure employee experience regularly.

According to the 2025 “Työvire” (= Work Pulse) and “Työyhteisövire” (= Workplace Pulse) surveys:

  • Our employee experience score is a strong 50.
  • Our eNPS is +53 (2025 average), indicating a high willingness to recommend LADEC as a workplace.
  • Overall employee wellbeing is rated as excellent: 4.2 / 5.0

We offer internship placements annually to higher education students in our region, including international students.

As part of our responsible operations, we offer internship opportunities annually to local higher education students – including international students.

We share knowledge, coach one another and make use of our partners’ expertise. Our work constantly provides new perspectives and opportunities to experiment, so curiosity is a real asset.

We encourage our staff to pursue further studies, and many of us have completed degrees alongside work. We want to ensure that every LADEC employee has room to grow as a professional and as a person.

Multi‑location work

Achieving our organisational goals requires close cooperation with stakeholders and colleagues.  Therefore, we work flexibly in various locations – at the office, with clients, in municipal facilities or at home.

For us at LADEC, multi‑location work is part of everyday life: meeting at the office whenever needed, without special reasons, and at a colleague’s request at the latest the following day.
