How LADEC Is Managed in Practice

In addition to the Finnish Limited Liability Companies Act and the Articles of Association, LADEC’s governance and management comply with the Corporate Governance Code for Finnish private limited companies issued by the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK),  the Lahti Group Corporate Governance Guidelines, and the internal "Code of Good Governance and Management at Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd".

Operational management is supported by clear instructions, as well as established monitoring and reporting practices.

The CEO and the Management Team are responsible for operational activities

The CEO leads the day-to-day operations of the company together with the Management Team, in line with the strategic direction and action plan approved by the Board of Directors.

The implementation and delivery of the strategy are ensured by closely linking both company-level and unit-level annual action plans to strategic development objectives. This enables the strategic goals to be translated into concrete short-term targets and key results, which are monitored as part of everyday operations.

Progress against the annual action plan and objectives, as well as operational performance, is monitored and assessed regularly using dedicated quantitative indicators at both unit and executive management team level.
