Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd

Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd is a non-profit vitality company owned and funded by the cities and municipalities of Päijät-Häme.

We support entrepreneurs and companies in our region with matters related to starting a business, growth, development and internationalisation, as well as relocation to the Lahti region.

We develop the Lahti region as a business environment and promote the implementation of new investments in cooperation with the municipalities in our area.

We accelerate sustainable growth. We help new companies to emerge and support existing companies in renewing, developing and growing, and in locating to the Lahti region. This creates jobs, generates tax revenue for municipalities, keeps the region vibrant and ensures the well-being of its residents.

Board of Directors

Our company is led and guided by a Board of Directors elected by the General Meeting, consisting of representatives appointed by the cities and municipalities in our region as well as our university and higher education institution owners.

For the 2025–2026 term, our Board comprises 12 members and one expert member. The Chair of the Board is Milla Bruneau, appointed by our main owner, the City of Lahti.

CEO & Management Team

Our CEO is Tomi Tura. He is responsible for leading the implementation of the operational and financial targets set annually by our Board, together with the four-member management team.

In addition to Tomi Tura, the management team includes Directors Riina Kivekäs, Jarno Saarinen and Isto Vanhamäki.

Financial Statements & Key Figures

LADEC is part of the City of Lahti Group and follows the Group’s guidelines in all its operations.

We will publish our financial statements and key performance indicators on this new website during spring 2026.
