TransBaltic Extension - project

Transport greening policy actions in the public-private environment

TransBaltic Extension project is a follow-up stage for the TransBaltic project (www.transbaltic.eu) that delivered the Macroregional Transport Action Plan - a strategic document with policy actions to improve connectivity and accessibility of the Baltic Sea Region. The aim of the TransBaltic Extension project is to deploy the chosen policy actions in specific corridors and sites through public-private cooperation in order to verify usefulness of the MTAP as a decision-support instrument for policymakers and the market. The project is expected to achieve interesting results by the autumn 2014.

TransBaltic Extension involves five partners from four BSR countries and 29 supporting organizations that include many industry actors, encouraged with a practical business-oriented dimension of the project. Lahti Region Development LADEC Ltd from Finland acts as the Lead Partner of the project.
